A beautiful antique snake ring in 8.5g of 18ct gold. This phenomenal snake coils three times around your finger, his cheeky head crossing across his twirled tail.
The head of the ring is set with a large pear cut diamond of approximately 0.50ct. The diamond is bright and lively with a slight grey tone to it due to a soft speckling of carbon inclusions that run through the diamond. The pear cut diamond is believed to be slightly more modern than the mount, which is c.1850, and potentially a replacement; the diamond is likely c.1930-1950 due to the style of faceting. This collectors piece is finished with bright ruby eyes that add a cheeky character to this impressive ring.
Please note that the shank of the ring is oval shaped and thus accurate sizing is hard. We have selected to not rectify this currently just in case the new owner wishes to re-size the piece, but regardless will round the shank free of charge before shipping.
