The perfect low profile diamond ring in 18ct gold and platinum, c.1900. The centre of this timeless diamond ring is a sparkling old cut diamond, estimated just under 0.50ct in weight. The antique stone is entirely eye clean, bright and white with loads of fire within its chunky facets, perfectly framed and protected by the platinum bezel that surrounds it.
Whilst the central diamond is undoubtably the star of the show, we are equally in love with the shoulders of the ring, which are set with the most delightful old mined cut diamonds with squarish outlines. These diamonds are so characterful with their high crowns and square profiles, all in good condition apart from one very end stone which we can see is chipped when using a loupe.
A heavy and luxurious diamond piece that would be a perfect everyday ring or engagement ring.
