A truly exceptional antique snake ring in 9.3g of rich yellow gold. This chunky snake coils a protective five times around your finger, finished with a detailed head, which is set with a large diamond and diamond eyes.
 
The central diamond is a stunning old cut pear that weighs an estimated 0.60ct. The pear cut has crisp and bright facets with minimal wear (only two very small nicks to the girdle) and lots of brilliance. Internally the diamond is included with a number of white feathers and crystals, however these are not visible to the naked eye and do nothing to detract from the beauty of this antique diamond. The only other wear to note is a small chip to one of the old mined cut diamond eyes, however this again cannot be seen with the naked eye.
 
This is a collectors piece that will only appreciate in value as worn and enjoyed.
