  • A beautiful antique navette ring assayed in Chester c.1900. The navette ring is set with a cobblestone of natural, antique, diamonds totalling an estimated 0.75ct in weight and offering tonnes of sparkle as it is turned on the hand. The diamonds are offered in good overall condition with only a few small nicks and nibbles visible with a loupe.

It is common in this style and era of ring to see the head in white gold, whilst the rest of the piece would traditionally be in yellow gold; interestingly this ring appears modelled in white gold throughout, but we believe it has been plated to give this appearance and that the shank is yellow gold underneath. Please bear in mind that this plating will wear away over time but can be re-plated if required. Alternatively if you would like us to remove the plating before shipping we can also do this.
