A truly beautiful ring dating to c.1890-1910. This sparkling cocktail ring is of an openwork floral design with an approx. 0.50ct diamond centre surrounded by petals studded with around 0.60ct of further old mined cut diamonds. The antique diamonds are everything you could dream of, with a good white colour and full of fire. Under magnification there are a few smaller stones with nicks or chips and a speckling of natural inclusions throughout, but this is to be expected with age and does nothing to detract from the ring’s beauty.
The head of the ring has a sizable 14.5mm spread but sits comfortably low to the hand and is finished with a chunky yellow gold band for that timeless Edwardian glamour we all love.
There is some tarnishing to the metal towards the head of the ring which we can professionally polished before shipping if requested. We tend to leave this decision with the buyer as some collectors prefer to leave the original patina on antique pieces.
