A beautiful diamond necklace set with approximately 1.20ct of step cut diamonds. The core of the necklace we believe to date to c.1920, however over time this has been added to with the addition of a drop and a vintage 9ct gold curb chain.
 
The centre of the necklace holds a collection quality carre cut diamond of approximately 0.80ct. The beautiful stone is a high E/F colour and boasts exceptional VVS clarity. The diamond is bright and fiery, which is rare to see in a carre cut where stones are often cut for their colour. The large stone is flanked by steps of baguette cut diamonds, equally as fine in quality, they make a V that delicately sits at the nape of your neck. These stones are all set in a blackened platinum mount.
 
There is then the addition of four single cut diamonds that hang from the base of the necklace, delicately swinging with your body as you move. These stones are set into 18ct white gold, which has been tested.
 
The exceptional stones are then all hung on a fine, vintage, 9ct gold curb chain. The chain length is short at 14” but we can change this for another similar 9ct gold chain free of charge.
