  • A truly fine quality ring in buttery 18ct yellow gold, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1882. The gold weighs just shy of 6g for a luxurious heavy feel on your hand, beautifully rich in patina from its centuries of history. The centre stone is a playful, natural, opal held secure by petal like claws that surround it, in the traditional buttercup setting. We think the opal may be a replacement stone as it is offered in such fantastic condition, but you would never know that it wasn’t made for this ring as it fits in so seamlessly. Offered in pristine condition this is a true collectors piece.

We offer a ring re-sizing service by our antique specialist for a small fee, starting at £40.

Most of our rings can be resized, but if they can’t we will stipulate this in the description.

As a rule we will only alter a ring by three UK sizes. If you would like to size a ring more than three UK sizes (either up or down) please contact us on a case by case basis and we will try and accommodate you as best as possible.

We do not offer refunds on altered pieces, so please make sure you love your new piece before you purchase.

      Sizing takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
