A classic shield shaped signet ring assayed for London 1896. This late Victorian piece is set with a central banded agate hardstone which has been hand cut into a detailed shield with a natural white band running east to west across the surface of the stone. The stone is in good overall condition, although there is some light surface wear consistent with age. The ring is modelled in solid 9ct gold and weighs a hefty 5.4g, which gives it a tactile feel as you slide it onto your finger. Offered in excellent condition.
