A true heirloom piece. A heavy 18ct gold signet ring assayed in early 1900s Chester. The richly patinaed yellow gold weighs an impressive 6.7g and is beautifully tactile with light surface scratches denoting its age. The signet ring has been inlaid with a vibrant raspberry coloured almandine garnet in a desirable octagonal cut. The antique facets of the gemstone have softened with wear and slight scratches over time, but other than this the stone is in good condition. This is a ring that will be treasured for centuries to come, an excellent investment piece.
