A unique antique sovereign pendant, dated to 1907. The sovereign is Peruvian origin and is struck in 22ct gold, as is standard. Already a collector’s piece, this fine pendant really stands out from the intricate enamelled detail which has been applied. Both the front and back of the pendant has been painstakingly painted with rich enamel bringing out the details of the Libra. The front has a beautiful miniature portrait of an Inca warrior, adorned with gold hoop earrings and a traditional head band; whilst the back the colourised flag of Peru. A fine and unusual piece.
