A small but mighty ring dating to the early 1900s. The centre stone is a bright blue synthetic sapphire. Synthetic stones were incredibly popular during the 1920s-1940s and even outpriced their natural counterparts for a period of time so it is common to find them in original antique pieces. This sapphire is especially fine, despite some wear to its facets, with the perfect royal blue colour collectors love to see.
The sapphire is accented by a timeless target style halo in white gold and approximately 0.32ct of chunky old mined cut diamonds to the shoulders. Finished with an 18ct yellow gold shank, this is the perfect original deco piece for any collection.
