The fiery stone is high clarity with that typical warmer body colour we know and love of antique stones. The diamond is in good overall condition with just a few small nibbles to the girdle observed under magnification. Set in a Tiffany style mount with a eight pronged platinum collet and finished with an 18ct yellow gold shank.
The shank does have some wear to it with a discoloured patch to the inside of the band and thinning to the back of the shank where it appears the ring has been worn routinely next to another. This ring could happily be re-shanked and sized to any ring size.
