An antique engagement ring from the early 1900s. The centre stone is a bright old mined cut diamond set in a square collet to give the impression of a square stone, which was becoming all the more popular as we moved into the art deco era. The natural diamond is estimated at 0.60ct in weight with a spread of 5.5mm and is offered in excellent antique condition with only a few small nicks and nibbles noted under magnification.
The centre stone is accented by subtle diamond shoulders, the square profiled shank beautifully inlaid with four baguette diamonds in platinum before leading to a yellow gold band.
