A fabulous large diamond cluster ring modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1913. The centre stone is a large yellow toned diamond of approximately 0.55ct. Cut with the traditional high crown and open culet this fiery stone appears to almost blend into the yellow gold of the metal with its naturally warm colouring. The centre stone is a high SI1 clarity grade, very nearly a VS2 stone, and is offered in exceptional condition with no chips or nicks to the beautiful hand-cut facets. 
 
Surrounding the central diamond is a halo of further old cut diamonds, each stone approximately 2.2mm in diameter together they total an additional 0.44ct approx. These sparkling stones are slightly whiter in colour and lower in clarity but still have those wonderful warm tones to them and tonnes of sparkle. There are a few small chips to the girdles of the diamonds set into the halo, however these are not detrimental in the slightest and are only apparent with very close inspection with a loupe. 
 
A striking ring that would make a beautiful alternative engagement ring or flashy right hand ring.
