A perfect trilogy ring in high carat yellow gold. The mount is thought to be c.1930 -1940 with the centre stone a likely replacement. But oh what a fantastic addition the elongated sapphire makes. The natural gemstone is estimated at 2.10ct with a spread of 8mm x 6mm and a beautiful pastel blue colour. The cushion cut sapphire is held simply in a four claw setting that holds the stone in place at each of its corners. The gallery of the ring shows wear from setting although sound and the stone remains tight. Flanked by two brilliant cut diamonds in square collet settings, complete with engraving, that give the ring a beautifully deco look. A lovely piece that would be perfect for any jewellery lover.
