A striking vintage cocktail ring in 18ct gold with a platinum collet. The centre stone is a large oval cut tourmaline; estimated at 2.40ct in weight the light mint green gemstone has a serious presence on the hand. The tourmaline is held secure in a timeless six claw, platinum setting. There are abrasions to the face edges of the tourmaline and some small nibbles to the girdle but otherwise the stone is in good vintage condition.
The tourmaline is surrounded by a delicate halo of transitional cut diamonds in a traditional setting, highlighted with fleur de lis style shoulders in contrasting yellow gold.
