A striking modern star sapphire ring in white gold. The focal point of the ring has to be the sizable sapphire cabochon to the centre, estimated at 3.90ct. The natural sapphire is a beautiful cornflower blue with angular colour zoning and silky natural inclusions that give it the oh so beautiful asterism you can see when it catches the light. The sapphire is in excellent overall condition with a bright lustre to the domed crown and lovely colour dispersion, the only wear to note is a chip to the underside of the stone, only visible with careful inspection.
The sapphire is held in an intricately detailed white gold setting, with diamond set shoulders and collet, with beautiful engraving throughout the shank. Because of this the ring is sadly not eligible for re-sizing.
