An exceptional antique sapphire and diamond halo ring in 18ct white gold. The centre stone is a large natural sapphire estimated at 7.80ct in weight. The oval faceted stone is a deep teal that flashes vibrant bluey-green hues in some lights, whilst in others appears almost black. The sapphire is in good overall condition despite some nibbles to the table facets, one which is noted with the naked eye.
Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of sparkling eight cut diamonds, totalling approximately 0.36ct in weight. The diamonds have been carefully set into the white gold, appearing to melt into the metal that surrounds them. The ring is finished with an elegant hand pierced gallery and a classic white gold shank.
