A vintage 9ct gold star sapphire ring. The focal point of this impressive piece is the large grey-blue sapphire cabochon, estimated at 9ct in weight. The steel toned sapphire with silky natural inclusions throughout, which form a six-ray star that dances across its domed surface. The sapphire is held in a bespoke bezel setting and finished with a simple split shank. The ring has some discolouration to the metal but is otherwise offered in excellent condition.
