The head of the ring has been crafted entirely from a large almandine garnet, which is foil backed and has been carefully faceted with a flat top and curved sides. The gold backing of the ring shines through the garnet making it the most stunning deep raspberry red colour, flecked with gold. The garnet has then been expertly hand craved and inlayed with a stunning yellow gold star, which holds a central old cut diamond at its centre.
To the reverse of the ring there is a small nodule of gold that makes us believe this piece began life as a stick pin, however it has been lovingly converted into this stunning ring you can wear and enjoy. Offered in pristine condition for its over 100 year age.
