A lovely original deco emerald and diamond ring in white gold. The head of the ring is set with alternating diamonds and emeralds to give a graduating silhouette, so indicative of the 1920s. The gemstones are all exceptionally high quality, from the baguette cut diamond to the glowing bottle green emeralds. As is expected with the age of the piece, there is some surface wear and nicks to the emeralds, which are known to be brittle gems and liable to wear, as well as a small chip to one of the side diamonds; this wear is only visible with magnification.
The ring is finished with a timeless white gold band and low-profile gallery. There is evidence of a historic re-size to the rear of the band, which is slightly misshapen and a different tone of gold. However, this cannot be seen when worn and could be improved by our goldsmith if requested.
