A truly mesmerising antique enamelled brooch in solid 9ct gold. The front of the brooch has been detailed beautifully with enamel, depicting an angelic young boy with flowing golden locks of hair looking off to the right. The handsome figure has traditional Victorian style garments with a ruff around his neck along with emerald green sleeves and a gold cape fastening. Atop his head there is a blue trimmed headpiece complete with wing like feathers and a tiny rose cut diamond. The enamel has been so beautifully done that he feels real when you look at it, we would love to know the history of this special subject. 
 
There is enamel loss and damage around the outside of the brooch as well as some fine hairline cracks that works its way across the piece, however we still can’t help falling in love with this oh so special piece and know it will be cherished by the next caretaker. 
 
We love this piece as a brooch but could convert it into a pendant and remove the pin if so requested. This would be free of charge.
