An exquisite antique fancy link chain. Dating to c.1850 the ornate chain is crafted form 9ct yellow gold and has a typical tag hallmark near the bale to confirm. The links are a beautiful scalloped belcher link with slight texture to the gold that gives it the perfect glisten as it is turned in the light. There is some minimal, age related, wear between links but this is to be expected and does nothing to affect the piece. The chain is slightly longer than standard at 21”, which makes it perfect for layering. Finished with a dog clip for a stunning clasp and ease of use.
