A captivating late Edwardian garnet and diamond halo ring. The central old cut garnet is that perfect deep raspberry with lovely character to its hand faceted surface. There are some chips to the base of the garnet that can be seen slightly through the crown with magnification, as well as one very fine surface reaching inclusion to the table, however this does nothing to detract from the beauty of the piece and is expected with the age of the piece.
Surrounding the garnet are two delicate halos of white gold. Each halo studded with antique rose cut diamonds that subtly sparkle as you turn the ring on your hand. There are a few microscopic chips to a small handful of stones, but this is not eye visible and the diamonds are in good overall condition.
The ring is finished with a simple yellow gold shank, the perfect finishing touch to this timeless piece. Due to the profile of the ring it is hard to size accurately but is an estimated size M (US 6).
