This is the perfect ring if you are looking for a target ring that doesn’t cost the world. This antique conversion ring features a large old mined cut, paste stone to the centre, surrounded by a halo of calibre cut synthetic rubies. Likely converted from a stick pin there is a section of the rubies that are closed back, probably where the original pin was attached; however the pin has been lovingly converted into a ring with the addition of a sympathetic 18ct yellow gold shank. Overall offered in excellent condition, the only wear to note being one ruby, which is chipped, and light surface wear to the crown of the paste stone, both only visible under magnification.
