A beautiful early 1900s trilogy ring in 18ct yellow gold. The centre stone is a beautiful emerald cut sapphire in a desirable periwinkle blue. The natural stone has some fascinating natural inclusions when viewed with magnification with wispy feather inclusions delicately floating through the gemstone. The sapphire is in good overall condition despite some surface reaching inclusions and a nick to the girdle, which can only be seen with a loupe.
Sat either side of the sapphire are two mightily impressive old mined cut diamonds. Totalling an estimated 0.70ct in weight, the antique stones are beautiful quality. Almost fancy yellow in colour the diamonds blend into the buttery yellow gold that surrounds them. In contrast to the sapphire the diamonds are incredibly clean stones and are packed full of fire, truly beautiful to behold.
The ring is finished with a timeless yellow gold shank. The ring itself has become slightly oval, likely the result of a previous re-sizing, but fits an approximate ring size K. This can be happily sized.
