A beautiful antique cluster ring in platinum. This elegant beauty has a scalloped edge surrounding a chunky halo of old mined cut diamonds. The hand cut diamonds total an estimated 0.70ct in weight; lovely and sparkly with high crowns and wide-open culets the diamonds are free from any significant wear.
The diamonds surround a central baguette cut stone in a soft greenish-blue colour we would usually associate with a fine aquamarine, however the step cut gemstone tests as a tourmaline. Estimated at 1.70ct the tourmaline really steals the show with its pastel blues and greens with soft white internal inclusions. The gemstone is offered in excellent condition.
