  • A captivating genuine art deco ring in 18ct gold and platinum. Rumoured to be of Italian provenance by the last dealer this ring definitely has some European romance to its design. The centre of the ring holds a large plaque of lapis lazuli in the typical royal blue, flecked with gold pyrite inclusions, adding a wonderful pop of colour to this exquisite piece. The lapis is in good condition but does have some surface pitting, which is common to see in this gemstone.

The lapis is flanked either side with a demi halo of diamonds. Totalling an estimated 0.36ct the antique diamonds are truly spectacular, with bright white body colour and minimal internal inclusions or wear. Each diamond has been lovingly set into a demi bezel that gives a soft scalloped edge to this oh so beautiful ring.
