Possibly the most fabulous art deco ring we have had in our hands, this breath-taking piece had to come home with us as soon as we saw it. All original and dating to the 1920s the centre of the ring features a large, lozenge cut, synthetic blue sapphire. The sapphire measures an impressive 12.5mm in length and is the epitome of art deco style, with clean geometric lines and beautiful stepped facets that catch the light as it is turned. The stone is offered in pristine condition, clearly highly prised by whomever commissioned this exceptional piece. 
 
Whilst the centre stone steals the show, there is so much beauty in the simplicity of this early 1900s design. The flat platinum head has an hourglass outline studded with small diamond chips before further shield cut sapphires set into the shoulders. Once again, the ring is in excellent condition overall with only the smallest of nibbles visible to the corner of one of the side stones.
 
Whilst the head of the ring is beautifully simplistic, there is more to see on the reverse of the ring with delicate hand engraving encircling the base of the ring in 18ct yellow gold. There truly is beauty at every angle of this piece and it is one you will never come across again.
