A beautiful antique emerald and diamond ring c.1900. The centre stone is a large minty green coloured emerald in a beautiful elongated baguette cut. The emerald has some stunning natural inclusions throughout, with fine feathers and rutile inclusions alongside some tiny crystal inclusions, all adding to the character of this beautiful piece. Emeralds are brittle stones and as such are liable to nicks and chips to their facets, however this emerald is in near pristine condition, which is rare to see.
Surrounding the emerald is a scalloped halo of old mined cut diamonds. The sparkling antique diamonds total an estimated 0.30ct in weight, their high crowns and open culets giving us the ultimate antique glamour. This would make a beautiful addition to any collection, and a stunning engagement ring choice.
