A lovely antique half hoop sapphire and diamond ring in 18ct yellow and white gold. We estimate that this ring is c.1930-1940. The head of the ring has a beautifully geometric feel with three, deep blue, carre cut sapphires bezel set to emphasise their squarish outline. In-between the sapphires there are two transitional cut diamonds, both set into square settings to mimic the sapphires and give the ring a truly deco feel. The diamonds are in beautiful condition with collection colour and clarity that means they really sparkle as they are turned in the light. A beautiful piece in excellent condition that would make the perfect everyday ring or a stunning alternative engagement ring.
