A stunning early 1900s heart ring set with a central cornflower blue sapphire surrounded by rose cut diamonds. The stunning cornflower sapphire really draws your eye into the centre of the piece with its glistening light blue colour and is wonderfully lively, but there are some age-related wear to the crown facets visible under magnification. The rest of the platinum topped heart is studded with glistening rose cut diamonds, all well matched in colour and mostly free from wear with only a few microscopic nicks to report. One rose cut is sunken slightly in it its setting but this is secure and does not detract from the wonderful piece. The perfect sentimental piece to add to your collection.
