An impressive 1920s era cocktail ring modelled in platinum. The square profiled cocktail ring has a glittering boarder of old mined cut diamonds, which total an estimated half a carat in weight, forming a frame around the vibrant centre stone. You would be excused for thinking this was an emerald at first glance, but in fact it is a cleverly treated piece of rock crystal. The natural quartz has been treated and dyed to give the impression of an emerald with artificial inclusions giving the look of the fern like inclusions we love in emeralds. The result is an incredibly impressive ring that will turn heads from across the room.
Offered in excellent antique condition the ring only has a few superficial scratches visible with magnification. Currently a small size H this is eligible for a free re-size and could be sized up to an M (US 6).
