A pretty, antique, ruby trilogy ring with diamond accents. This stunning ring features three perfectly coloured pinkish-red rubies to the centre, each antique stone securely set in an eight claw setting that hugs their outline. The natural gemstones are offered in excellent antique condition with only a few very small nicks visible to their facets under magnification. When viewed with a loupe a few of the claws have slightly lifted, which does not compromise the piece at all, but we can have the settings tightened before shipping if you require.
 
Flanking the vibrant ruby stones are two antique diamonds set in contrasting which gold collets, which have a leaf like resemblance to them. The diamonds are bright and shiny, housed protectively in their collets.
 
The head of the ring tests as 18ct yellow gold, however the shank has a more rosy tint and tests as just over 9ct gold, which leaves us to believe the piece has been re-shanked at some point, although this has been done well and doesn’t detract at all from the beauty of this special piece.
