A gorgeous Art Deco era bar brooch in 18ct/ 15ct gold. The brooch has a strong art deco influence in design with an abstract silhouette surrounding geometric gemstones. The centre stone is a deep red garnet cabochon with two carre cut sapphire accents. There is some wear to the bezel that surrounds the garnet and evidence of glue work that has yellowed over time, however the stone remains very much secure and this is just part of the brooch’s history. The only other wear to note is a small hinge that would have clicked the pin into place is absent, the brooch is still fully functioning and secure and only a trained eye would notice this.
