A beautiful antique double snake ring in solid 18ct yellow gold. This intricate piece shows two detailed snakes tangled together with their heads intertwined, one snake set with rose cut diamond eyes and the other with table cut rubies. Although chunky this example of a snake ring is slightly thinner than others with a shank that tapers from 7.7mm to 3mm at the reverse, making it ideal for stacking or wearing alone. Offered in excellent overall condition with only light surface wear noted to the precious stones and evidence of an old re-size to the reverse of the shank.
