A beautiful Edwardian era halo ring in 18ct yellow gold, topped with platinum. The centre of this ring holds a deep raspberry almandine garnet in a desirable cushion mixed cut. The vibrant gemstone is held securely by multiple claws that highlight its cushioned silhouette perfectly. Please note there is some surface wear to the garnet visible with a loupe but with the naked eye she looks pristine.
Surrounding the garnet is a halo of chunky old mined diamonds totalling approximately 0.20ct; their hand cut facets and open culets give a beautiful character to this antique piece. Once again the diamonds have no eye visible wear, however a few small nicks can be seen when carefully inspected with a loupe. This a beautiful ring and would be the perfect addition to any collection.
