A truly exceptional original art deco target ring in 18ct yellow gold. This stunning classic has a cobblestone plaque of twelve old-mined cut diamonds totalling an approximate 0.70ct set to the centre in contrasting white metal. The diamonds are all perfectly mismatched and range from 2mm in size to 3mm. All the stones are bright and white with lots of characteristic fire coming from their high crowns. Overall, the diamonds are in excellent antique condition with only one small chip to a centre diamond to note, which is not eye visible.
Surrounding the rectangular plaque of diamonds is a dainty halo of natural emeralds. The vibrant green stones vary slightly in colour due to their natural origin, but this only adds to the character of this beautiful antique. The emeralds have been expertly calibre cut to precisely slot into their allotted place to create a continuous gemstone boarder to the ring.
This lovely piece is completed with engraved detailing to the gallery of the ring and a simple gold shank. This would make an exceptional engagement ring.
