A unique emerald and diamond ring modelled in 18ct yellow gold, assayed for 1988. The centre of the ring holds an approximately 1ct natural emerald cabochon in a beautiful glowing green. The fine gemstone has beautiful natural inclusions that run throughout for that perfect emerald we all love. The emerald is offered in good overall condition with no eye visible flaws, although a few nicks can be seen to the table cabochon under magnification.
The emerald is framed by beautiful diamonds either side, two round stones leading to a channel set band of baguettes. The tapering diamonds have been expertly set and are in beautiful condition with only a few microscopic nicks to the stones to note. A beautiful and unusual piece that would make a fantastic addition to any collection.
