A pretty pair of enamel pansy earrings in base metal with solid gold wires. A popular motif in Victorian jewellery, pansies were synonymous with thought, their name deriving from the French ‘penser’, which translates as to think on ponder. These have been converted from and antique set of buttons and we love the result. Offered in good overall condition there is only slight enamel loss to note.
