A charming vintage enamelled charm of Portuguese origin. These charms were common gifts from family members and this piece translates roughly as ‘memento from Grandparents’, the perfect gift if you are a grandparent or a gift to yourself if you have a special grandparent to remember.
 
The bale is stamped 800 with a stags head, which was a hallmark used between 1938-1984 to denote 19.2% gold in Portugal.
