A truly fantastic antique navette ring, c.1910. The centre of the ring is claw set with a vibrant blue-teal, oval, sapphire of approximately 1ct, surrounded by a halo of fine quality, chunky, rose cut diamonds. The edge of the ring then has delicate milgrain detail, with the sides further decorated with intricate hand engraved patterns.
The ring is in fantastic condition, despite her 100 year age, with no significant wear to the diamonds and only slight abrasions to the table facets of the sapphire. There is a small chip to the underside of the sapphire, which can be seen with magnification, but this is very superficial and cannot be seen.
Truly a spectacular piece and one that will take your breath away, even more, in person.
