An early enamel plaque ring in 18ct gold. This beautiful ring features a large gold plaque depicting a gem set flower against a fine royal blue enamel background. The flower is beautifully simple in design with five diamond petals surrounding a central ruby, and a leaf growing from its gold stem. The stones are all offered in excellent antique condition, whilst the enamel has minor damage, consistent with the age of the piece.
The head of the ring is mounted onto a simple yellow gold shank, which is possibly later than the core of the piece but has been executed beautifully. The shank has been sized with the addition of two small balls of gold to the inside, which gives quite the variation in ring size. On a ring sizer the ring measures an M ½ (US 6.25) but we have happily had it fit a finger that is a size Q (US 8), so you should be able to wear it any size from approximately an M 1/2 – Q.

We do not offer refunds on altered pieces, so please make sure you love your new piece before you purchase.
Sizing takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
