A rare antique snake ring from the Victorian era featuring a detailed snake that wraps comfortable around your finger twice. This charming snake has two deep red garnet cabochon eyes and is complete with three sparkling old cut diamonds adorning his head. The diamonds have been cut very flat to maximise their spread, so whilst the largest stone weighs an approximate 0.08ct it spreads like a quarter carat. The diamonds are well matched and in good overall condition with only a very small nick to the surface of the smaller stone visible under magnification. A stunning and rare piece that looks beautiful worn alone or stacked with other rings for a truly jaw dropping look.
Due to the slight oval shape of the band the ring is hard to accurately size but has been estimated as a size O/P.
