These lovely 1960s earrings had us at hello. Set in solid 18ct yellow gold, the bottom of the earrings are made from interlocked, faceted, circles of rock crystal and onyx, which are hung from a stud earring, each containing three princess cut, blue, sapphires. These earrings are of a very high quality and likely a bespoke commission opposed to mass produced. 
 
There are only the most minute of surface wear to the stone, which tell you they have been really cared for by their previous, glamorous, owner. The perfect day to night piece. 
 
The posts of the earrings are fully marked for 18ct gold, assayed in Birmingham, although the date letters appear to be rubbed, we date these earrings to c.1960.
