The perfect chunky albert chain to add to any collection, c.1880. This will be that staple everyday piece that is sure to become a future heirloom. The antique chain is modelled in 17g of 9ct gold and hallmarked to every link, which alternates between finely twisted ropes of gold and hollow fancy links. The links are in overall good condition, however two of the fancy links have separated to make a slightly longer link, we love them like this as it makes the chain a tad longer however, we can happily solder them back into place if required; aside from this there are a few superficial dents to the links when inspected closely, but these are not of concern. The albert chain is finished with a pair of matching dog clips and a traditional t-bar, these are slightly rosier in tone and may not be original to the piece, however they are from the same era.
