We can never pass up a good navette ring, universally flattering with a shape that offers both excellent finger coverage and elongates the finger at the same time.
This is a particularly nice example c.1900, set with a central, deep teal, blue marquise sapphire. The sapphire is dark but has a lovely blue glow to it as it is turned in the light, offered in excellent condition and secured in a beautiful multi claw setting.
Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of high quality, chunky, rose cut diamonds. The diamonds as G/H in colour and SI-VS clarity, with the majority of stones being VS. Overall the diamonds are in fantastic antique condition, with only one being chipped, which is only visible under magnification.
A fantastic ring that would make a great cocktail ring or addition to any collection.
