A exceptionally high quality mourning pendant from c.1894. This darling charm is modelled in 9ct gold and silver and has been hand made in the form of a four-leaf clover. The good luck charm has two solid gold leaves, one inscribed ’94, and two open work leaves, all surrounded by a boarder of sparkling rose cut diamonds. 
 
To the reverse the pendant reveals another secret. Two heart shaped locket compartments, each holding hairwork from a loved one years ago. Sadly the glass has some surface wear and one pane is cracked, but they remain secure and for the age of the pendant this is not significant wear.
