A true beauty, this Edwardian era cluster ring is not done justice in photos. The floral design ring centres around a sizable old cut diamond, encircled with further diamonds and two exceptionally coloured rubies. To see the diamonds in person is to fall in love with them, their bright white colour standing out beautifully next to the rich red rubies and yellow gold metal. The diamonds are fiery and characterful with open culets and high crowns, each stone meticulously fashioned by top lapidarists by candlelight.
Clearly an important piece the rubies are equally as special with that perfect pigeon blood colouring. Despite being relatively included when inspected with a loupe the rubies are entirely eye clean and their colour is really the important factor here, the antique stones glistening beautifully in the daylight.
The ring is completed with a simple crosshatched engraving to each shoulder before finishing with a classic yellow gold shank. The perfect engagement ring.
