A late 19th century diamond and ruby ring in rich 18ct yellow gold. To the centre of the ring is an estimated 0.20ct old mined cut diamond of exceptional quality, flanked by two vibrant red, natural, rubies. Each gemstone is set into a starburst setting that makes them look as though they are constantly sparkling on your hand.
The precious gems are set into a lightly square shaped shank, which offers a geometric feel to this chunky piece. The only wear to note is some thinning to the reverse of the shank, although this does nothing to affect the durability of this fine antique.
